One of the dreams of Habañero Collective has always been to promote culture, community, music, art, and the overlap of all of the above.

On 09/21/13, we hosted a house show at the Bear Den in Tempe, AZ. The night’s lineup consisted of Dylan Pratt, Northern Hustle, and Christian Lee Hutson. If you don’t know Dylan Pratt, don’t worry, it’s not too late. Dylan is still writing, playing and recording and we highly encourage you follow his work if you aren’t already.

Here’s “Honest Kind of Luck” from the 2013 release Beg For Fire.

One of the dreams of Habañero Collective has always been to promote culture, community, music, art, and the overlap of all of the above. Part of that has meant trying to support local music whenever possible.

One of the local groups we were privileged enough to work alongside was Tempe’s (sadly missed) Northern Hustle.

On 09/21/13, we hosted a house show at the Bear Den in Tempe, AZ. The night’s lineup consisted of Dylan Pratt, Northern Hustle, and Christian Lee Hutson. Here’s two songs from Northern Hustle.

First we have “Northland” from the 2013 album Forgether.

And here’s “Weakmouth” from the same release.

Though Northern Hustle is no longer, we’re thankful that you can still purchase Forgether at Bandcamp.

Aaron Spiro Live at the Thomas Listening Room

On October 22, 2013, we were lucky enough to host Tacoma’s Aaron Spiro for a house show at the (former) Thomas Listening Room. Aaron has been an important part of the Tacoma music scene and we were excited to host him. He didn’t disappoint.

Aaron played a set heavy on funky acoustic guitar and vocal looping and closed the night with his song “Come On” (which I don’t think is on any release, though it has been performed previously, sometimes called “Are You Coming?”
